Dengue is a viral infection that causes approximately 400 million cases of dengue in the world each year. Methods: an ecological study with secondary data was carried out. Several databases were built in Microsoft Excel for each of the studied regions. Results: there was an increase in the incidence of dengue cases throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. 2020 (1,75/100 thousand inhabitants), 2021 (4.84/100 thousand inhabitants) and 2022 (3,35/100 thousand inhabitants). Conclusion: the number of cases due to dengue infection increased in endemic regions and at the national level throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
